The Arizona Diamondbacks hit four consecutive home runs in the fourth inning and Daniel Hudson turned in another solid performance with Arizona in leading the Diamondbacks to an 8-2 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday.
Adam LaRoche, Miguel Montero, Mark Reynolds and Stephen Drew all went deep in succession off starter Dave Bush to help Arizona win its third straight game.
Hudson (3-0) won for the third time in three starts with Arizona since being acquired from the Chicago White Sox in exchange for Edwin Jackson. The 23-year-old right-hander allowed two runs on seven hits with nine strikeouts in seven innings.
Hudson also helped out with the bat, driving in three runs with a double for his fifth RBI in nine at-bats in the National League, while Justin Upton added an RBI to help the Diamondbacks dig out of an early 2-0 hole.
Bush (5-10) was tagged for seven runs and eight hits in 5 1/3 innings.
Prince Fielder and Casey McGehee belted back-to-back home runs in the second inning for Milwaukee’s runs.
