Matthew Stafford threw three touchdown passes during a dominating second quarter and the Los Angeles Rams remained undefeated on the road with a 38-11 victory Sunday over the New York Giants in East Rutherford, N.J.

Stafford was 22-of-28 passing on the day for 251 yards, four touchdowns and one interception. He threw second-quarter scores to Robert Woods, Cooper Kupp and Darrell Henderson Jr. as the Rams (5-1) turned an early deficit into a 28-3 halftime lead.

Henderson had 78 yards rushing on 21 carries and added a rushing touchdown during the second quarter, when the Los Angeles defense also forced three of four Giants turnovers.

Giants quarterback Daniel Jones was 29-of-51 passing for 242 yards and three interceptions after spending the week recovering from a concussion last weekend at Dallas. Jones also lost a fumble in his first-career four-turnover game.

Jones was missing wide receiver Kadarius Toney (ankle), who left during the Giants' opening drive and did not return.

The Giants (1-5) were held to just 156 net yards through three quarters, with Rams safety Taylor Rapp intercepting a pair of Jones passes and the Los Angeles defense recording four sacks. The Giants' Xavier McKinney had two interceptions.

The Giants looked like the dominating team early, going 73 yards on their opening drive and getting a 27-yard field goal from Graham Gano.

After the Rams' first two drives of the day ended in punts, they found their stride. A 66-yard second-quarter drive ended with a 15-yard Woods TD catch and gave Los Angeles the lead for good at 7-3.

A 3-yard TD catch by Kupp on fourth down made it 14-3 following a Jones fumble at New York's 12-yard line. That was followed by Rapp's first interception to give the Rams another short field. They took advantage with a 14-yard drive capped by a 2-yard TD run from Henderson.

The Rams finished off their second-quarter scoring 33 seconds before halftime when Stafford threw a 25-yard TD pass to Henderson, completing a 73-yard drive for a 28-3 lead.

Kupp added a second TD reception with a 13-yard catch-and-run in the fourth quarter. Kupp finished with nine receptions for 130 yards.

The Giants finally reached the end zone with 6:21 remaining on a 4-yard run from Elijhaa Penny.

The Rams are 3-0 on the road.
