Carlos Guillen homered to lead off the bottom of the 10th inning and lift the Detroit Tigers to a 4-3 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Saturday.
Guillen connected off of Pirates reliever Brendan Donnelly (2-1), who came on to start the 10th and was promptly taken deep by the first batter he faced.
Phil Coke (4-0) picked up the win, working around a walk in the 10th.
Pittsburgh led 2-1 until the Tigers scored two in the seventh, aided by an error by Pittsburgh first baseman Ryan Doumit. The Pirates tied the game, 3-3, on an RBI single by Neil Walker in the eighth.
Ryan Church had an RBI double in the first and Garrett Jones homered in the fourth to put Pittsburgh up 2-1.
