Diamondbacks 13, Rockies 9: Matt Davidson homered and drove in a career-high four runs as visiting Arizona took the rubber match of a three-game set from Colorado.

Adam Eaton, A.J. Pollock, Aaron Hill and Gerardo Parra tallied three hits apiece for Arizona, which won for the seventh time in the last nine meetings between the National League West rivals. Will Harris (4-1) got the final two outs of the fifth inning in relief of starter Patrick Corbin, who was pulled after yielding four runs and 10 hits.

Todd Helton knocked in four runs and Michael Cuddyer and Charlie Blackmon had three hits apiece for the Rockies. Juan Nicasio (8-9) gave up seven runs over a season low-tying 2 1/3 innings and was roughed up for the second consecutive outing after surrendering eight runs against St. Louis in his last start.

Nicasio cruised through the first, but was tagged for four runs in the second as Parra doubled in one run and Chris Owings hit a two-run double. Paul Goldschmidt and Davidson added run-scoring doubles in the third to end Nicasio’s day before Parra greeted Jeff Francis with a first-pitch RBI single.

Cuddyer and Yorvit Torrealba recorded run-scoring singles in the third and fourth, respectively, before Helton ripped a two-run double down the right-field line in the fifth to close the gap to 7-4. Pollock answered with an RBI double in the sixth and Davidson belted a three-run homer for the second time in as many games to spark a five-run ninth.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Helton became the sixth active player – and 74th in major-league history – to record 1,400 career RBIs with his double in the fifth. ... Goldschmidt, who has a NL-high 123 RBIs, went 1-for-4 to extend his hitting streak to 12 games – a span during which he is batting .458. … Cuddyer, who missed the last two games with a sprained left wrist, raised his NL-leading batting average to .334.
