Joshua Fuentes homered among his three hits, Raimel Tapia also had three hits, and the host Colorado Rockies beat the slumping Texas Rangers 6-3 in Denver on Wednesday night.
Antonio Senzatela (2-5) pitched into the eighth inning, and Garrett Hampson and Yonathan Daza had two hits each for the Rockies. Daniel Bard pitched the ninth for his sixth save.
Isiah Kiner-Falefa and Willie Calhoun had two hits apiece for Texas, which has dropped eight straight overall and 14 in a row on the road.
The Rangers scored first when Calhoun legged out a double and Kiner-Falefa singled to right field to make it 1-0 in the third.
Nate Lowe followed with a single, but Senzatela got Adolis Garcia to fly out to end the inning.
Colorado tied it in the fourth when Fuentes led off with a double, moved to third on a wild pitch and scored on a groundout to third.
The Rockies took a 2-1 lead when Tapia led off the fifth with a double, went to third on Daza's sacrifice bunt and scored on a sacrifice fly by Ryan McMahon.
Texas went back in front in the sixth inning. Kiner-Falefa reached on an error leading off, Joey Gallo drew a two-out walk, and Brock Holt doubled to right to drive in both. Holt was thrown out trying to stretch it into a triple to end the inning.
Colorado responded in the bottom of the sixth. Fuentes singled off starter Jordan Lyles, then reliever Demarcus Evans (0-1) walked Dom Nunez, and both moved up on a sacrifice by Senzatela. Tapia followed with a soft liner to center that dropped for a two-run double and a 4-3 lead.
Lyles allowed three runs on seven hits in five-plus innings.
The Rangers threatened in the eighth, but Carlos Estevez relieved Senzatela and struck out Gallo to end the rally.
Senzatela allowed three runs -- one earned -- on seven hits in 7 2/3 innings.
Fuentes led off Colorado's eighth with his fifth home run, and Tapia had an RBI single later in the frame to make it a three-run game.
