Pablo Lopez pitched a career-high eight innings, striking out eight batters and leading the host Miami Marlins to a 6-2 win over the Colorado Rockies on Tuesday night.

Miami's Corey Dickerson, Jesus Aguilar and Adam Duvall each had two RBIs. Starling Marte went 3-for-4 for the Marlins, who earned just their second win in 11 games.

Charlie Blackmon went 2-for-3 to pass Larry Walker for second place on Colorado's all-time hit list. Blackmon has 1,362 hits, one more than Walker. Todd Helton is atop the list with 2,519 hits.

Blackmon made his Rockies and major league debut almost exactly one decade ago, on June 7, 2011.

Despite the milestone for Blackmon, Colorado is now 4-23 away from home, the worst road record in the majors.

Lopez turned in his seventh quality start in 13 tries this year but earned just his second victory. Lopez (2-3) allowed two runs on five hits and no walks. Richard Bleier closed out the win with a hitless inning.

Antonio Senzatela (2-6) took the loss despite striking out a career-high eight batters in six innings. He gave up four runs on nine hits and a walk.

Colorado opened the scoring in the first inning. Garrett Hampson hit a one-out double, advanced to third on Blackmon's infield single and scored on Ryan McMahon's RBI groundout.

The Rockies nearly scored again in the third, but Dickerson made a stellar over-the-shoulder catch in left to rob Hampson of extra bases. The Marlins then completed the double play on Raimel Tapia, who was flying around the bases.

Miami took a 4-1 lead in the bottom of the third after loading the bases on singles by Jon Berti, Jazz Chisholm Jr. and Marte. Aguilar lofted a sacrifice fly, Dickerson followed with a two-run triple, and Duvall capped the inning with an RBI single.

Colorado cut its deficit to 4-2 in the fourth as Blackmon doubled, advanced on a groundout and scored when Lopez bounced a wild pitch.

Miami broke the game open with two more runs in the seventh, a rally set up by singles from Chisholm and Marte. Aguilar and Duvall followed with RBI singles.
