Toronto scored once in the second after loading the bases on a single by Teoscar Hernandez and walks by George Springer and Biggio. Hernandez scored on Randal Grichuk's double-play grounder.

Guerrero hit a two-run double in the third, scoring Reese McGuire, who had walked, and Marcus Semien, who had singled. Guerrero was thrown out at home by left fielder DJ Stewart when he tried to score on Biggio's single.

Baltimore scored again in the fifth on a double by Ramon Urias, who was recalled from Triple-A Norfolk on Sunday. It scored Maikel Franco, who led off with a bloop single to right.

Toronto answered with two in the bottom of the fifth. Guerrero singled, Hernandez doubled and Biggio hit a wind-aided two-run double to left.

Stripling allowed singles by Stewart and Austin Hays to open the sixth. Patrick Murphy ended the threat by inducing a strikeout and double-play grounder.

The Orioles loaded the bases against Murphy with two out in the seventh on two walks and a single. Tim Mayza came in to get the final out.

Baltimore's Dillon Tate struck out five of six batters in the seventh and eighth. Toronto's Anthony Castro struck out the side in the eighth.
