Deron Williams and C.J. Miles scored 24 points apiece and the Utah Jazz needed seven players in double figures to outgun the visiting New York Knicks, 131-125, on Wednesday.

Utah shot 58 percent from the field to withstand outstanding performances by Knicks reserves Shawne Williams and Bill Walker, who combined for 48 points and 11-of-13 shooting from the arc.

The Jazz survived a third-quarter 3-point shooting display by Williams to keep an eight-point halftime lead at 100-94 heading into the fourth quarter. Deron Williams, Al Jefferson and Paul Millsap combined for 23 points in the period to withstand five 3-pointers by Shawne Williams - three during a 70-second stretch, with one a four-point play.

Utah gained control early in the final period on two layups by Miles and a three-point play by Mehmet Okur for a 107-96 lead with 10 minutes left but had to weather one more 3-point binge by Shawne Williams, who drained two over a two-minute span to cut the deficit to seven with four minutes to play.

That was as close as New York got until Amar’e Stoudemire’s 3-pointer with 10 seconds left.

Al Jefferson scored 19 points, Raja Bell added 18, Paul Millsap had 17 and Andrei Kirilenko 14 for Utah, which embarks on a five-game road trip.

Williams scored a career-high 25 points, making 7-of-8 from the arc. Walker tied his career high with 23 points, including 20 in the first half.

Raymond Felton had 23 points and 11 assists and Stoudemire scored 22 for the Knicks, who made 14-of-29 3-pointers. New York returns home after a 2-2 road trip.
