Monta Ellis hit the tying jumper with 0.9 seconds left in regulation before leaving the game with a leg injury in overtime as the host Golden State Warriors defeated the Sacramento Kings 119-112 Friday.
Ellis, who finished with 28 points, was carried off the court with 22.9 seconds left.
Ellis scored the Warriors’ final five points in regulation and the first four in overtime as Golden State (19-23) has its first four-game winning streak since 2008.
Tyreke Evans scored a career-high 35 points for Sacramento (9-32), which has lost 15 of its last 16 games on the road.
The Kings led 99-90 with 3:03 to go before the Warriors scored nine straight points – including six by Stephen Curry – to tie it with 1:15 left.
Curry scored 34 points while David Lee had 22 points and 10 rebounds for the Warriors. Ellis also had nine assists.
Curry had 14 points during a 25-13 run over the final 6:28 of the third quarter to help the Warriors take an 82-74 lead.
The Kings are 0-4 in overtime this season, including a 94-90 loss in their last game at Portland on Wednesday. The Warriors defeated the Kings 117-109 in overtime in their first meeting this season Dec. 21.
