After the Timberwolves built a 13-point lead at the half, Goran Dragic and Kyle Lowry led Houston on a 9-2 run early in the fourth quarter to cut Minnesota's lead to three.

Ridnour and Love responded with clutch 3-pointers down the stretch to put the Timberwolves up by eight and put the game away.

Wolves point guard Ricky Rubio had a double-double with 13 points and 11 assists. Rubio tossed a perfect half-court alley-oop to Wesley Johnson to get the Minnesota crowd energized in the first quarter.

Minnesota shot 57.5 percent from the field in the first half.
