HEAT 86, WIZARDS 84: Cartier Martin scored 22 points to lift visiting Washington over shorthanded Miami.
John Wall had 13 points and 13 assists, the final one setting up Nene's basket with 0.5 seconds left for the winning basket to give the Wizards their third consecutive victory.
Miami played without LeBron James and Chris Bosh and lost guard Dwyane Wade to a dislocated left index finger in the first quarter.
Mike Miller had 16 points and 10 rebounds off the bench and Mario Chalmers had 16 points for the Heat, who fell 2 1/2 games behind Chicago for the top seed in the Eastern Conference.
Despite the loss of their big three, the Heat went ahead 70-66 as Miller scored eight straight points to open the fourth quarter.
Washington, which got 17 points from Kevin Seraphin, answered with a 9-0 spurt to go ahead 75-70, but Miami fought back to tie it three times and knotted the score on Udonis Haslem's basket with 4.2 seconds left.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Wade was injured while trying to fight through a Chris Singleton screen. ... James missed only his second game for what coach Erik Spoelstra termed general soreness. James had led the team in scoring for 12 straight games. Bosh sat out his third straight with minor bumps and bruises. Center Ronny Turiaf (hamstring) also was out. ... Martin's previous season high was 20 points against Philadelphia in his second game March 30.
