Pistons 96, Wizards 87: Charlie Villanueva scored 11 of his 19 points in the second half as Detroit completed a home-and-home sweep of visiting Washington.
Rodney Stuckey had 18 points to rebound nicely after exiting Friday's contest following a shot to the mouth. Rookie Andre Drummond collected a team-high 11 rebounds for the Pistons, who defeated the Wizards for the 12th time in 14 outings.
Jordan Crawford finished with 21 points for the reeling Wizards, who have dropped seven in a row.
Although Washington trimmed an early deficit to seven on two occasions in the second quarter, Austin Daye made back-to-back 3-pointers and Villanueva followed suit with one of his own as Detroit seized a 39-22 advantage.
Crawford scored nine points in the third quarter as Washington benefited from a 19-5 run to close within six at 64-58. Stuckey answered for Detroit by drilling a 3-pointer as the Pistons scored 10 of the next 16 points to end the third.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Detroit's Tayshaun Prince twisted his ankle after coming down on Nene's foot on a jumper in the third quarter. He did not return. ... Third overall pick Bradley Beal returned for the Wizards after missing two games with a sore lower back. He finished with 14 points. ... Washington did itself just one better on Saturday. After amassing 34 points at halftime in Friday's 100-68 loss, the Wizards mustered just 35 on Saturday.
