Thaddeus Young scored 22 points, Bojan Bogdanovic added 18 and the visiting Indiana Pacers held off the Washington Wizards 119-112 on Saturday night.
Domantas Sabonis had 13 points and 12 rebounds for the Pacers, who began the post All-Star break schedule by winning on back-to-back nights. Indiana, third in the Eastern Conference, has won eight of its last nine.
Bradley Beal scored 35 points in 41 minutes for the Wizards, who have lost four straight and nine of 12. Thomas Bryant had 23 points and 12 rebounds for Washington, which finishes the season 1-3 against Indiana.
Bryant's 3-pointer pulled Washington within 115-112 with 28.9 seconds left. Bryant then got a steal, but his 3-point attempt missed with 14.2 seconds left. Indiana rebounded it, and Darren Collison made two free throws to seal it.
Washington trailed 65-50 at halftime, but Tomas Satoransky's 3-point play with 6:30 left in the game cut the Pacers' lead to 99-93. After an Indiana turnover, Beal was fouled while hitting a 3-pointer. He made the shot, added the free throw, and suddenly Washington was within 99-97.
Collison's 3 pushed the Pacers' lead back to five points, and Wes Matthews' shot from beyond the arc made it 107-100 with 3:17 remaining.
The Pacers went up by as many as 11 points before Washington closed in the final minute.
Indiana outrebounded Washington 41-32, and the Wizards had 22 turnovers. The Pacers were also sloppy, totaling 23 turnovers.
The Pacers shot 56.6 percent (47 of 83) and the Wizards hit 53.2 percent (42 of 79).
Young's 3-point play capped an 11-2 run that made it 57-40 with 3:47 left in the first half, and the Pacers led by 15 at intermission. Young had 15 points in the first half for Indiana, which shot 61.7 percent from the field.
Bryant had 11 points for the Wizards, who shot 55 percent from the field.
