OG Anunoby scored 26 points and Pascal Siakam added 22 points and a season-high 11 assists as the visiting Toronto Raptors snapped a three-game losing streak with a 132-102 win over the Washington Wizards on Wednesday.
Scottie Barnes added 20 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists for Toronto, which never looked back after overtaking the Wizards late in the first quarter. Gary Trent Jr. scored 12 points and Jakob Poeltl had 10.
Kyle Kuzma and Jordan Poole scored 14 points apiece to lead Washington. Corey Kispert had 13 points, Deni Avdija and Daniel Gafford each scored 12 and Tyus Jones finished with 11.
Toronto led by 16 at the start of the fourth quarter and extended its lead to 117-89 on Barnes' layup with 5:31 remaining. Both teams rested their starters in the final minutes.
The Wizards, who own the third-worst record in the NBA, lost for the fifth time in their past six games.
Toronto posted its fourth straight win over the Wizards and recorded 43 assists, one shy of its season high. The Raptors connected on 57.1 percent of their shots, including 15 of 38 (39.5 percent) from 3-point range.
Playing on the second night of a back-to-back, Washington shot 46.7 percent from the field and 8 of 33 (24.2 percent) from beyond the arc.
Washington jumped out to an early 24-16 lead before Toronto closed the first quarter on a 15-1 run to move ahead 31-25.
After Toronto stretched its lead to 13 points late in the second quarter, Washington battled back and pulled within 59-50 after Kispert scored to end the first half.
Anunoby scored 19 points in the half to lead all scorers. Avdija had 12 for the Wizards, who shot 5 of 18 (27.8 percent) from 3-point range before the break.
Siakam had 12 points and six assists in the third quarter to help the Raptors take a 97-81 lead into the final period.
Washington forward Danilo Gallinari exited the game early in the second quarter with lower back tightness and did not return.
