Atlanta's Trae Young scored 30 points and sparked a 3-point shooting barrage as the Hawks defeated the visiting New Orleans Pelicans 123-107 on Tuesday for their fourth straight win.

Young was 10-for-21 from the field and 6-for-7 on 3-pointers and added 12 assists. It was his 14th game of 30-plus points.

The Hawks were 20-for-31 for a season-high 64.5 percent on 3-pointers, including an NBA-record 11-for-11 from distance in the third quarter. Atlanta began the night ranked last in the league in 3-point shooting (33.3 percent). They fell short of the franchise record of 70.6 percent of 3-pointers set in 1996 against Dallas.

Atlanta also got 21 points from Bogdan Bogdanovic, 17 points from Kevin Huerter and 14 points from Danilo Gallinari.

The win gave Atlanta a sweep of the two-game season series against the Pelicans.

New Orleans got Zion Williamson back in the lineup after he missed three games with a sprained right thumb. He scored 34 and extended his streak of 20-plus point games to 25 straight.

The Pelicans got 14 points from Eric Bledsoe and 12 points and 11 assists from Lonzo Ball.

New Orleans led by 13 points (42-29) in the second quarter, but Young had 19 in the half and helped the Hawks tie the score 61-61 at halftime.

Atlanta opened the third quarter on a 24-12 run and led 85-73 on a 15-foot jumper from Bogdanovic. The Hawks scored 46 points in the quarter and took a 107-90 lead into the final quarter.

The Pelicans may have lost another player. Jaxson Hayes crumpled to the floor with an undisclosed lower body injury midway through the fourth quarter and was taken directly to the locker room. New Orleans was missing Brandon Ingram (toe) and Nickeil Alexander-Walker (left high-ankle sprain).

The Hawks play the second half of a back-to-back on Wednesday when they host the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Pelicans finish their four-game road trip on Wednesday with a game against the Brooklyn Nets.
