Reserve guard Seth Curry scored 17 points to lead four Duke players in double figures, and the top-ranked Blue Devils overwhelmed visiting Miami (Ohio) in a 79-45 victory Tuesday at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
The Blue Devils (2-0) got plenty of work from their bench, which scored 36 points, but the starters were productive when needed.
Kyrie Irving had 13 points and five rebounds, Mason Plumlee had a double-double with 10 points and 14 boards, and Nolan Smith had 10 points and seven assists.
The Blue Devils went 8-of-20 from 3-point range, led by Curry, who hit three of his four attempts from behind the arc.
The RedHawks (1-1) never got into a rhythm, shooting 33.3 percent from the field and 6-of-25 from 3-point range. They were just as bad at the free-throw line, going 3-of-8.
Nick Winbush had 14 points and six rebounds to lead Miami.
