Chandler Parsons and Kenny Boynton led the way with 16 points apiece as No. 10 Florida easily dispatched North Carolina A&T, 105-55, on Thursday.
Casey Prather added 12 points off the bench and Erving Walker chipped in 11 points, six assists and three steals for the Gators, who shot 58 percent (42-of-72) and outrebounded North Carolina A&T, 42-27.
Walker scored all of his points in the first half as Florida (2-1) opened up a 53-28 lead at the break. The Gators used a 31-11 spurt to stretch the lead from 18-10 to 49-21 with 2:46 left in the half, with Walker draining a pair of 3-pointers during the burst.
The Aggies shot just 39 percent (11-of-28) and turned the ball over 14 times in the opening period.
It was more of the same in the second half, as Florida came out strong and North Carolina A&T emerged from the locker room flat, hitting just nine shots and finishing the game at 34.5 percent from the floor.
Nic Simpson scored 11 points and Thomas Coleman chipped in eight points and 10 rebounds for the Aggies.
