The dream season continues for San Diego State.
The host Aztecs knocked off Wichita State 83-69 Saturday in the Mountain West-Missouri Valley Challenge.
No. 19 San Diego State is 8-0 for the first time since 2006 and for the third time in school history (1984). The Aztecs are also enjoying their first national ranking.
Forward Billy White scored a game-high 24 points on 10-of-12 shooting, while forward Kawhi Leonard had 16 points and 12 rebounds.
San Diego State is one of four teams to return all five starters. UNLV, UC-Santa Barbara and Florida are the others.
David Kyles scored a team-high 18 points for the Shockers (5-2).
