Derrick Williams led all scorers with 22 points as Arizona held off Cal State Fullerton 73-62 Wednesday.
Williams made 6 of 9 from the field and went 9 for 10 from the free-throw line for the Wildcats (8-1), who have won three straight since their lone loss of the season to No. 6 Kansas on Nov. 27. The last three wins have come by an average of 20 points.
Williams, the team's leading scorer at 20 points per game, helped Arizona to a 34-24 halftime advantage. Cal State Fullerton (3-6) closed to 53-48 on Devon Peltier's jumper with 11:32 left before the Wildcats retook control.
Kevin Parrom had 12 points, while Solomon Hill added nine for Arizona.
Peltier finished with 18 points, while Orane Chin scored 15 and Jer'Vaughn Johnson had 13 for the Titans.
