No. 2 Kansas stayed in the center of the No. 1-seed discussion by handling host Oklahoma 82-70 on Saturday.

The Jayhawks (27-2, 12-2 Big 12) cruised past the struggling Sooners (12-16, 4-10) behind another big game from the Morris twins, who combined for 42 points and 19 rebounds. Marcus Morris had a game-high 23 points and Markieff Morris finished with 19 points and 10 rebounds.

With the win, Kansas moves into a first-place tie with No. 5 Texas, which lost at Colorado. The Longhorns own the tiebreaker over the Jayhawks for the top seed in the Big 12 Tournament due to their head-to-head win.

Kansas played without starting point guard Tyshawn Taylor, who missed his second straight game after being suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules.

Cade Davis had 19 to lead the Sooners, who have lost seven straight.
