Sophomore Roy Devyn Marble turned in the most complete game of his young career as Iowa used a late second-half run to defeat visiting Boise State 81-72 on Thursday.
Marble was dominant, finishing with 18 points, eight rebounds, five assists, three steals and three blocks.
Freshman Aaron White added a career-high 18 points and Melsahn Basabe chipped in with 14 points and 11 rebounds for the Hawkeyes (8-5), who improved to 8-2 at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
Iowa blocked a season-high eight shots and went 25-of-31 from the foul line.
The Hawkeyes grabbed a seven-point lead on a jumper by Matt Gatens with 9:45 remaining, but watched Boise State (9-4) score nine of the next 11 points over the next 2:38 to knot the game at 57-57.
Iowa responded with eight straight points, capped off by a layup from Gatens, and did not allow the Broncos to get any closer than six points the rest of the way.
Kenny Buckner had 18 points to lead Boise State, which fell to 0-4 on the road.
