Anthony Marshall scored a career-high 27 points to lead No. 20 UNLV to a 101-78 victory over visiting TCU on Wednesday.

UNLV blew by TCU in transition, outscoring the Horned Frogs 24-12 on fast-break points, and totaling 28 assists. The Runnin’ Rebels entered the game fifth in Division I averaging 18.3 assists per game. Marshall led UNLV with nine.

Chace Stanback added 21 points, including 5-of-7 shooting from 3-point range, while Mike Moser earned his ninth double-double of the season with 16 points and a team-high 15 rebounds. Moser entered seventh in Division I averaging 11.2 rebounds.

UNLV (17-3, 1-1 Mountain West) held the Horned Frogs to 38.6 percent shooting, the ninth time in the last 10 games the Runnin’ Rebels have held an opponent to less than 40 percent.

The Runnin’ Rebels started with a hot hand by making 11 of their first 13 shots, including 6-of-7 3-pointers, to build a 19-2 lead in the first five minutes.

UNLV shot 57.8 percent, including 11-of-21 3-pointers (52.4 percent). It was the fifth game this season it has averaged more than 50 percent from the field.

TCU (10-7, 0-2) trimmed the deficit to as few as 13 with less than four minutes left in the first half, but got no closer than 45-32. Kyan Anderson led TCU with 20 points.

It was the second time this season the Runnin’ Rebels topped 100 points.
