Iowa State 98, Alabama A&M 40: Melvin Ejim had 16 points and 10 rebounds for his eighth career double-double and the Cyclones got double-digit scoring from five players in a dominant performance over the Bulldogs.

Tyrus McGee scored a game high 18 points for Iowa State, which dominated defensively, holding Alabama A&M shooters to 14-of-52 from the floor and outrebounding the Bulldogs 44-19.

The 58-point margin of victory was the largest of the game for the Cyclones (2-0) and the sixth-best winning margin in school history.

Jeremy Crutcher scored 10 points for Alabama A&M (1-1) - its only player to reach double figures. Crutcher put the Bulldogs in front with the game's first field goal, the only lead of the game for the Bulldogs as Iowa State finished the first half on a 41-12 run.

Freshman forward Georges Niang followed up a 15-point, 12-rebound double-double in his Cyclones debut with 17 points, five boards and four assists against A&M.
