Clemson 59, Virginia 44: Milton Jennings logged a season-high 21 points and 11 rebounds as the host Tigers edged the Cavaliers to earn their first conference win of the season.

Jennings was 5-for-8 from 3-point range while Devin Booker added 15 points and nine rebounds for Clemson (9-6, 1-2 ACC). The Tigers shot 51.5 percent from the field.

Joe Harris led Virginia (11-5, 1-2) with 14 points, making just two of his seven 3-point attempts. As a team, the Cavaliers shot just 29.4 percent from beyond the arc. Akil Mitchell chipped in seven points and nine rebounds.

Neither team led by more than four points until back-to-back 3-pointers by Jennings keyed the Tigers' 9-0 run early in the second half. After taking a 24-20 lead into halftime, the stretch pushed the cushion to 33-24 with 15:23 left.

A Harris layup and Evan Nolte 3-pointer pulled Virginia back within four before Damarcus Harrison responded with a 3-pointer of his own and a jumper to make the score 38-29 just 2:39 later. Harris' 3-pointer with 6:46 left cut the deficit to 44-38, but that was as close as the Cavaliers got as Clemson finished the game on a 10-2 run.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Clemson has won its last four home games against Virginia. ... The Tigers used an eight-man rotation. Six of those eight players recorded 193 of the 200 minutes.... The Cavaliers entered the game holding opponents to 35.7 percent shooting. ... Virginia's 44 points marked the program's lowest scoring output since a 63-44 loss to Boston College on Feb. 26, 2011.
