North Carolina 87, Wake Forest 62: Reggie Bullock poured in 23 points and James Michael McAdoo added 20 as the host Tar Heels cruised to their eighth win in the last 10 meetings with their in-state rivals.

P.J. Hairston scored 11 points for North Carolina (16-6, 6-3 ACC), which forced 21 turnovers and improved to 11-1 at home. The Tar Heels have won seven of their last eight games heading into two tough road tests in Miami and Duke.

Arnaud William Adala Moto scored 13 points off the bench to lead the Demon Deacons (10-12, 3-7), who have lost four straight and six of seven. C.J. Harris added 12 points and Devin Thomas had 11 points and 13 rebounds for his second double-double of the season.

The Tar Heels trailed for only 20 seconds, falling behind 4-3 early before Bullock hit a 3-pointer to give them the lead for good. Wake Forest did not score a field goal during the final 5:54 of the first half as North Carolina reeled off a 15-1 spurt to take a 47-27 lead into halftime.

The Tar Heels shot 62.1 percent in the first half, finished at 51.6 percent from the field and went 9-for-15 from 3-point range.
