No. 16 Wisconsin 77, Nebraska 46: Freshman Sam Dekker matched a career-high with 19 points, coming off the bench to lead the host Badgers to a regular-season sweep of the Cornhuskers and their fifth straight victory in the series.
Dekker was 4-of-5 from 3-point range and Ryan Evans added 14 points and seven rebounds for Wisconsin (20-8, 11-4 Big Ten). Ben Brust recorded his seventh-straight double-figure game with 13 points for the Badgers, who shot 59.3 percent and 8-of-13 from long range in the first half en route to a 44-23 advantage.
Dylan Talley led Nebraska (13-15, 4-11) with 21 points and eight rebounds. Brandon Ubel added 10 points and six boards for the Cornhuskers, who fell to 0-9 against ranked teams.
Dekker made three 3-pointers to spur a 24-2 run and turn the Badgers’ one-point deficit into a 35-14 lead with 5:54 left in the first half. Wisconsin reeled off a 20-3 jaunt in the second half to balloon its cushion to 64-26 with 8:34 left.
The Badgers moved into a second-place tie with No. 10 Michigan State. Wisconsin improved to 15-2 at home while Nebraska fells to 2-8 on the road.
