Kentucky 85, Mississippi State 55: Ryan Harrow led the way with 19 points, and Kentucky sent the visiting Bulldogs to their 13th consecutive defeat.
Alex Poythress added 16 points for the Wildcats (20-8, 11-4 SEC), who won their second straight. Reigning SEC Freshman of the Week Willie Cauley-Stein amassed 12 points, six rebounds and three blocks.
Mississippi State (7-20, 2-13 SEC) now has recorded the third-most losses in a season in team history. Fred Thomas paced the Bulldogs with 13 points, while Colin Borchert and Jalen Steele scored 10 each.
The Wildcats started fast, going on separate 13-0 and 10-0 runs while building a 42-19 halftime lead. Mississippi State never recovered.
Kentucky shot 54.8 percent from the field and outrebounded the Bulldogs 42-29. The Wildcats accounted for 46 points in the paint.
GAME NOTEBOOK: This marked Mississippi State's ninth loss decided by at least 25 points this season. ... All five Kentucky starters scored in double digits, with Archie Goodwin and Julius Mays contributing 11 apiece. ... Harrow also totaled seven rebounds and four assists.
