No. 20 Saint Louis 76, Duquesne 72: Austin McBroom hit three second-half 3-pointers, including the go-ahead 3 in the final minute, as the visiting Billikens extended their win streak to 12 games.
Mike McCall Jr. led Saint Louis (18-2, 5-0 A-10) with 13 points and Grandy Glaze added 12, all in the first half, as the Billikens improved to 7-0 on the road. McBroom finished with 11 points and Jordair Jett had 10 points and 11 assists.
Ovie Soko had 18 points for Duquesne (8-9, 1-4) while Dominique McKoy and Micah Mason each added 15. Mason hit 5-of-7 3-pointers while the Dukes shot 8-of-15 from the arc.
Mason's third 3-pointer of the first half put the Dukes ahead 36-28 with about three minutes left. Mike Crawford hit a 3-pointer after a Duquesne turnover, starting a 6-0 run to end the half and get the Billikens within two.
Saint Louis, which hit 10 3-pointers, got two 3s from McCall for a 68-64 lead with four minutes left before Mason's 3 put the Dukes back ahead 69-68 two minutes later. McBroom knocked down his go-ahead 3 after Duquesne hit three free throws for a 72-70 lead and the Dukes missed three close-range shots in the final minute.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Second-year Billikens coach Jim Crews (46-9 at Saint Louis) earned his 400th career victory, becoming the 46th active NCAA Division I coach with at least 400 wins. ... It was the most points scored against Saint Louis this season. ... Saint Louis is 5-0 in conference play for the first time since starting the 1958-59 season 7-0 in the Missouri Valley Conference.
