LSU 73, Tennessee 55: Jordan Mickey scored 20 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and tied his career high with seven blocks to lead the Tigers to their first win in Knoxville since 2009.

Keith Hornsby registered 16 points - including four 3-pointers - and dished out a game-high seven assists while Tim Quarterman added 13, six and six rebounds for LSU (18-7, 7-5 SEC), which snapped its six-game losing streak against the Volunteers. The Tigers, who won for just the second time in five games, shot 53.2 percent from the floor - including 9-for-19 from 3-point range.

Armani Moore recorded 16 points and eight rebounds to lead Tennessee (14-10, 6-6), which lost for the fifth time in seven games. Josh Richardson finished with 15 points on 5-of-13 shooting and Derek Reese added 11 for the Vols, who shot just 36.8 percent.

Coming off a bitter 71-69 loss to No. 1 Kentucky on Tuesday, LSU owed no signs of a hangover against the Volunteers, bolting to a 47-20 halftime lead. Mickey led the way with 15 points and five rebounds as the Tigers picked apart Tennessee's matchup zone defense by shooting 64 percent, including 7-for-10 from 3-point range.

Moore scored five points and the Vols forced four turnovers during a 13-0 run to cut LSU's lead to 48-33 with 16 1/2 minutes to go. Tennessee, which trailed by as many as 28 points in the second half, never got any closer than 15 the rest of the way.
