Olivier Nkamhoua had a career-high 23 points and Kennedy Chandler scored all 16 of his in the first half as No. 18 Tennessee rolled to 94-62 victory over visiting East Tennessee State on Sunday at Knoxville, Tenn.

Nkamhoua also pulled down eight rebounds and 24-year-old John Fulkerson scored six while adding 10 rebounds in his season debut for the Volunteers, who held ETSU without a field goal for roughly 12 minutes spanning both halves.

Tennessee has won 11 straight in this series, which started back up for the first time since 2016.

After scoring 20 points and making all four of his 3-point attempts in his collegiate debut during Tennessee's 90-62 season-opening win over UT Martin earlier in the week, Chandler showcased his complete game on Sunday. He dished out six assists and pulled down five boards. After making his first two 3-point attempts of the game, Chandler finally missed from distance.

Jordan Powell added 11 points off the bench for Tennessee, which shot 45.9 percent for the game, held a dominant 51-25 advantage on the boards and totaled 42 points in the paint.

Jordan King scored 20 for ETSU, coached by longtime Tennessee assistant Desmond Oliver. The Buccaneers, however, shot just 33.9 percent while dropping to 0-2 on the young season.

Thanks to Finland native Nkamhoua, the Volunteers used an 11-0 run to take a 24-11 lead, capped by Fulkerson's dunk. Playing in his sixth season at Tennessee, Fulkerson looked solid after breaking his thumb during the preseason. Nkamhoua, meanwhile, noted for his defense, has totaled 34 points in the first two games of 2021-22. He went 9 of 14 from the field on Sunday.

ETSU, however, used a 7-0 run of its own to get within 26-20. The Vols, though, got a 3-pointer from Victor Bailey Jr. (nine points) to re-gain complete control of the game. Tennessee closed the first half on a 15-1 run with Chandler scoring the final five points before the hosts led 46-23 at the break.

East Tennessee missed its final 12 shots of the first half and finally halted its extended field-goal drought when Ledarrius Brewer (11 points) sank a basket with 17:21 left in the second half.
