Bryce Thompson and Avery Anderson III each scored 15 points as Oklahoma State pulled away to its fourth straight win, a 96-66 dispatching of Charleston on Monday in Stillwater, Okla.

The Cowboys (5-1) held a seven-point lead at halftime but blazed away to a 16-point lead in the first five minutes of the second half and never looked back.

Bryce Williams and Kalib Boone (five blocks) each notched 13 points.

Moussa Cisse had 10 points and recorded six of his club's 16 blocked shots for Oklahoma State. Isaac Likekele posted 10 points, five rebounds, five assists and two steals.

The Cougars (3-2) were led by Bucknell transfer John Meeks' 22 points. Reyne Smith netted 15 and Ben Burnham had 10.

The Cowboys shot 57 percent to Charleston's 30 percent from the field.

The Cougars committed 28 turnovers.

Charleston started fast by jumping out 5-0 and getting threes from lefty Smith and Burnham early in the contest.

The Big 12 squad used its size advantage and athleticism to overcome the slow start and held a 22-15 lead with 9:44 left in the first half on a running floater by Williams and Thompson's trey on the next possession.

Burnham's follow-up slam tied it at 30 with 3:42 left, and the visitors added on with Meeks' two free throws.

However, two freebies each by Kalib Boone and Williams -- plus an alley-oop dunk by Cisse on the last shot -- sent the Cowboys on an 8-0 run for a 43-36 halftime lead, which matched their largest.

In the half, OSU shot 50 percent from both the field and long range, and made all seven free throws.

Despite 16 turnovers, the Cougars shot 50 percent on the three-ball and made their 12 free throws.

Five quick points to open the second half pushed the run to 13-0 as OSU grabbed a 48-36 lead.

That advantage soon increased to 67-48 as the Cowboys got hot from the field, forced numerous turnovers and cashed in on easy buckets.
