BRUINS 3, DUCKS 2: Benoit Pouliot and Brian Rolston recorded a goal and an assist apiece as Boston defeated Anaheim to increase its lead in the Northeast Division.
Captain Zdeno Chara also scored, Chris Kelly notched two assists and Marty Turco made 25 saves for his first win with the Bruins, who moved five points ahead of Ottawa with their fourth win in five games.
After a scoreless first period, Chara and Pouliot scored in an 85-second span early in the second to put Boston ahead.
Chara's bouncing wrist shot from the left point hit a defender's stick and sneaked between Jonas Hiller's pads at 4:34. Shortly thereafter, Pouliot beat Hiller to the stick side with a shot from the top of the left faceoff circle for his 100th career point.
Anaheim halved the deficit at 9:11 on Teemu Selanne's 248th career power-play goal, giving him sole possession of fourth place on the all-time list.
Rolston restored the two-goal advantage with a one-timer from the right circle with just under seven minutes left.
Defenseman Lubomir Visnovsky scored late and Hiller stopped 22 shots for the Ducks, who had won three straight against Boston.
