Kings 5, Blackhawks 4:
Captain Dustin Brown snapped a tie with 1:27 left in the third period as visiting Los Angeles rallied past league-leading Chicago.

Anze Kopitar registered a goal and an assist, Jarret Stoll, Dwight King and rookie Tyler Toffoli also scored and Jonathan Quick made 21 saves for the Kings, who had been shut out in their two previous contests.

Michael Frolik recorded two goals and an assist, captain Jonathan Toews had one of each and Patrick Kane added a tally for the Blackhawks, who have dropped back-to-back games in regulation for the second time this season. Corey Crawford turned aside 31 shots for Chicago.

Toews buried a rebound from the doorstep to give the Blackhawks a 4-3 lead at 3:51 of the third, but Toffoli knotted it again with a quick wrist shot through a screen less than 4 1/2 minutes later. Brown buried his own long rebound in the slot, sending the puck over a sprawling Crawford for the go-ahead goal.

Frolik, who had not scored since the season-opening game in Los Angeles, beat Quick from the slot at 5:55 of the first period. He added another on a deflection to tie the game at 2-2 in the second before Kane and King traded goals in the final minute of the period.
