Troy Terry scored twice, including the winning goal on an overtime penalty shot, to lift the visiting Anaheim Ducks over the St. Louis Blues 3-2 Sunday.

Buddy Robinson also scored and Anthony Stolarz made 23 saves for the Ducks, who have earned points in seven of their last eight games (5-1-2).

Oskar Sundqvist and Nathan Walker scored and Brayden Schenn had two assists for the Blues, whose home-ice winning streak ended at seven games.

Fill-in goaltender Jon Gillies -- who signed as a free agent after Jordan Binnington (COVID-19 protocols) and Ville Husso (lower-body injury) went down -- made 36 saves.

Gillies made just his 13th career NHL start and his first since April 7, 2018.

The Blues were missing 10 players due to injuries and COVID-19 protocols. With Jordan Kyrou sidelined by injury, the Blues played with just 11 forwards with the six defensemen.

Schenn exited the game in third period with an upper-body injury, further compromising the Blues.

The Ducks outshot the Blues 11-7 in the tightly-played first period and took a 1-0 lead.

Robinson scored his goal during a sustained offensive cycle. Sam Carrick made the centering pass coming out from behind the net. Gillies stopped Nicolas Deslauriers at the right post, but Robinson banged in the rebound from straight away.

The Blues tied the game 1-1 with 13:17 left in the second period. Schenn's outlet pass sent Walker and Sundqvist on a 2-on-1 break -- and Sundqvist converted Walker's cross-ice pass.

Gillies kept the game 1-1 by robbing Isac Lundestrom on his 2-on-1 rush with Trevor Zegras.

Walker took an outlet pass from Schenn, broke down the middle and scored on a 1-on-2 rush and put the Blues up 2-1 with 12:20 left to play.

But Terry scored on a goalmouth scramble with 6:31 left in regulation time. That play began when defenseman Cam Fowler broke in for a point-blank backhand shot on Gillies.

That forced overtime, which ended with Terry's penalty shot -- after Blues defenseman Scott Perunovich hooked Terry on a breakaway.
